
Becoming an Egg Donor
Eligibility Criteria
We take great care to ensure the safety and well-being of both our egg donors and recipients. To be eligible to become an egg donor, you must meet the following criteria:

Age: Between 19 and 30 years old, although some exceptions may apply.

Health: Generally good physical and mental health.

Non-smoker: We require that our egg donors are non-smokers and have not used nicotine or tobacco products for at least three months.

BMI: <30.

Reproductive Health: Regular menstrual cycles and no history of reproductive disorders.

Genetics: A family medical history free from hereditary genetic conditions.

Education and Lifestyle: While not strict requirements, higher education and a stable lifestyle are often preferred by recipients.
Application Process
Our application process is designed to ensure that potential egg donors fully understand the commitment involved and are prepared for the journey ahead.

Initial Application: Complete our online application form, providing detailed information about yourself, your medical history, lifestyle, and motivations for becoming an egg donor.

Interview: If your initial application meets our criteria, we'll set up a time to meet in person or by video conference. This is a time for us to get to know you and educate you all about the process.

Screening: Your medical records and family history will reviewed by our staff to ensure that there is no significant health history that could potentially disqualify you.

Legal Consultation: You'll have the opportunity to consult with an attorney to discuss the legal aspects of egg donation and sign necessary agreements.

Matching Process: Once approved, you'll be added to our donor database, and recipients will have the opportunity to select you as their egg donor based on their preferences.

Evaluation
Once selected by the future parents, you'll undergo a thorough evaluation to ensure your suitability as an egg donor. This includes:

Medical Evaluation: Comprehensive medical examinations, including blood tests, genetic screening, and ultrasounds to assess ovarian reserve and reproductive health.

Psychological Evaluation: Psychological testing and education to evaluate your mental and emotional well-being and ensure you understand the emotional aspects of egg donation.

Counseling: Access to counseling services to discuss any questions or concerns you may have throughout the process.

Infectious Disease Testing: Screening for infectious diseases to ensure the safety of the donated eggs.

Drug, Nicotine and Alcohol Screening: Testing to confirm compliance with our non-smoking and substance-free requirements.
